maternity photos
the dunne family came up for a visit to photograph a wedding (that i helped with day of and it was beautiful) and it was just oh so convenient to have nick take some maternity pictures. i was a big, huge butt head during the session. i am way more uncomfortable at the end of this second pregnancy, and we were wrangling a toddler for pictures, and the weather was really not cooperating. i really wanted spring like photos...outside, somewhere in a flower field or meadow or some other ridiculous place and it was just raining and raining. and i just moped around complaining about my hair frizzing and the weather being the worst and how disappointed i was in everything... including a rainbow that came out. yes. i hated the rainbow. anyways, i apologize to my family and nick for being a monster. luckily, nick is really very talented and the pictures still turned out great and you can't even tell how grouchy i was. so... you should be even more impressed with these photos. here are some of them... i had trouble picking, that's how much i liked them. thanks for the pictures and for not punching me in the face, nick!

the wallace's visit
my good friend from college, stephanie and her husband barry, came for a tiny little visit while doing a west coast tour to introduce their new sweet babe to friends and family in oregon and washington. baby liana was born a tad early on december 31st (go tax refund just in time!) and is just the tiniest little peanut you ever saw. she still of course has big, squishy, lovable baby cheeks. it's too much. beckett loved practicing holding a tiny baby, he would have sat there all day... mostly because babies are not the most interesting if you aren't actively holding them. now he is an expert at holding a baby, pretty much. thanks for coming all the way up north to visit us, wallace family. we were blessed to meet sweet liana.
here is a nice oldie of college us

saint patrick's day
for saint patrick's day we had our annual corned beef and cabbage dinner party at the kreitlow's house. since beckett doesn't really have a good grasp of time yet (everything in the past happened yesterday and everything in the future is happening tomorrow) we have been using holidays to help him understand when his new brother is coming. we started way back at thanksgiving, telling him first we had thanksgiving, then christmas, then new years, then his birthday, then valentine's day, then saint patrick's day, then easter, THEN the baby comes! he can repeat the whole list of holidays in order, counting down to baby day. when he woke up on saint patrick's day, he announced... "now just easter and then i'm a big brother! we are getting pretty close!" ahhhh! yes, we are, it is getting a little stressful. good thing i could calm my nerves by stuffing my face with the guinness chocolate cupcakes natasha made. that helped a lot.

a shower for baby friske two
i went to a very fancy in seattle shower to celebrate baby girl friske number two. it was in the club room of a seattle apartment complex and had a crazy, cool view. i took a not very good picture of the great wheel at night. the shower was very sweet and it is extra exciting because elisa is my pregnant twin. she is about one week ahead of me. when i was about 8 weeks pregnant she sent me a text message and we had a conversation that went like this...
-i had this crazy dream that you, whit, and i were all pregnant together. it was wild.
-ha. it's not the wildest thing i ever heard. are you prego right now? when i was pregnant with b i had pregnancy dreams almost every night!
-yes. are you? i'm not supposed to tell anyone, but it's just happening. haha.
-ha. yes. i'm not telling anyone either... it's not going great.
and now we're both big pregos having our baby showers. woo! can't wait to meet baby girl friske, who will definitely be besties with our new guy... and they might even share a birthday! you never know! let's go second babies!

iphone life twentyfive
it's my phone photos! they happened in february! yes they did!
krista's baby shower. so many babies! yeah!
this is harper with a red diaper bag, but you knew that
we love watching the superbowl, clearly. (we watched like 5 minutes)
technically, i could have a sawyer aged baby and a beckett and be prego, but i think hanging out with sawyer and harper just sometimes seems like a way better plan.
"do you like my bunny ears?"
this baby is doing some good yoga
snow day! actually it snowed for like half a day... kind of perfect
a skull, the coziest of pillows
he's hiding
i've been marked. by glucose testing. no gestational diabetes! yeah!
he is 28 weeks pregnant too and he is serious about it
just hanging out with little baby, his dearest friend
valentine's day at preschool! wooooooo!
papa came to see us for his birthday!
earning his keep by doing the dishes
sometimes you have a sick day from school and so you need a pedicure
the children asleep in the car... go minivan!
