we had a great 4th of july, celebrating america. i really, truly do love this country and feel fortunate to live here and raise my family here! we spent the day with misty and brian and deep fried pickles, had some very delicious 4th of julyish dinner, roasted marshmallows for s'mores and just hung out! in the evening we headed down to marina park in kirkland and met up with the dunnes and kreitlows to watch fireworks. b really loved the fireworks! he was mesmerized by them and not at all scared of the noise. he is actually watching them in the family photo above. i wish we could have more no work, hang out with friends summer time days just like this!
