our duck leaves the nest... again

matt, b, saige, and i went on a quicky quick drive down to eugene to get saige moved into the dorms for her junior year of school. time is going so fast. i can't believe the summer is over already and saige is half way done with college. ahh! pressure much, saige? anyways, this was the first road trip for b since he was a teeny babe and his first hotel stay. i won't talk about our hotel much... let's just say, it wasn't my favorite. but saige is all moved in and organized and ready for another great year of school. sadly, i did not bring the good camera or even the not so good camera, but i still took iphone pics. i apologize for the low quality, don't judge. 

first we had a five hour jaunt down there... b ate the frog on his shirt, saige ate some cheddar fries, and then b fell asleep. magic for the drive time, not magic for the super awake hotel baby at midnight.

next we had some delicious personal pan pizzas for dinner and b had some airplane in his big boy highchair. also, matt played some pinball. 

 then it was super awesome hotel time. b loved the big beds and the bath!

in the morning we had to go get a random box out of a random storage unit because saige had placed it there in a black rage months earlier. we let beckett drive the truck we borrowed from zac's dad (thanks mark!) and he was an excellent driver. after lots of storage unit drama, we finally had box success! yes!

here is saige's hallway and bathroom and saige herself in her room. wouldn't you love to have her as your ra? heck yes. oh, also here is b sitting in her desk chair. 

aaaaand the finished room. tada! reminds me of lindsey greene for some reason. also, saige and beezus spending some final moments together. matt was quite the helpful mover all day long. do you like his super cool ugly doll backpack? (thanks brandie!)

finally, we had to head out and leave saige on her bed wearing some cat ears. have a good year baby saige! we will miss having you around!
