a surprise? party

my birthday fell on a wednesday this year and every wednesday we eat dinner with the kreitlows. i told matt to make sure whitney knew it was my birthday to avoid an awkward moment where it comes up during dinner and then whitney has to run into the kitchen and try and mush a bunch of cookies together into a cake shape with a tealight on top or something crazy like that. ha. maybe that's just what i would do if the situation was reversed. anyway, whitney could not stop herself from inviting other people over... so it turned into a party. and it was kind of a surprise, but kind of i knew. so, it was nice and we had a delicious dinner and a birthday cake with 33(!) candles and we only took pictures of children... per the usual, but adults were there... per the usual. thanks to everybody that came to my impromptu party and especially thanks to the kreitlows for throwing me an impromptu party. i am so very grateful to have each of you in my life! i am also grateful for sawyer belle's face in these pictures. she kills me.
