farm friends

today beckett and penelope went on a date to farrel mcwhirter park. we originally wanted to take them to a pumpkin patch and petting zoo, but hello? that is so october and was obviously closed. the park ended up being a great alternative on this clear fall day. it has been so sunny and chilly out lately. very fall... very beautiful. like the most beautiful. i think margaret and i extra appreciate it because vegas (where we grew up) is the exact opposite. anyways, this park is also a small farm, so the babies got to see some cows, pigs, goats, chickens, turkeys, rabbits, sheep, and horses! then, we sacrificed the babies clothes and put them in some pretty damp leaves. penelope had to lay down right away... such a little model diva! we rounded out the day with some swings... so fun, right? right!
