one year and one day

when matt and i found out that beckett was a boy, the first thing we went out and bought was his coming home from the hospital outfit. it was actually one of the only things we bought for him... we were very blessed to receive as gifts or borrow pretty much all things baby. anyway, i picked out an adorable grey and white striped one piece outfit with a hood that had (my favorite part) a knot on top. for christmas this year beckett's yiayia happened to buy him the very same outfit in blue and white. so, of course i put the outfit on him on the 8th this year. exactly one year after he wore the same outfit the first time. i feel like ever since beckett turned one, i spend a large amount of time comparing this year to the same time last year. it's a weird thing that i can't help doing, but i'm going to try and not do a million comparison blog posts. probably just like half a million.
