on the farm week

make something monday: beanbag mouse and frog

so, the week before when we were at the library getting crafty books, the girls picked out a princess craft book and they really wanted to make something out of it. we went through and found the two crafts that i thought were acceptable during farm week. a frog and a mouse. those things are on farms, right? yes, yes they are.

time to read tuesday: farm books

we also met penelope for our last outdoor concert... the board of education. they were pretty good. also, we did a random photo shoot outside of the library on the crazy carousel statue. beckett loves to ride the wolf. scary.

what's cooking wednesday: banana bread & lemon blueberry cookies

that's right... we double baked. i had old bananas that really needed to be baked into some bread and we needed some cookies for our community service. here are the recipes: banana bread with chocolate swirl and lemon blueberry cookies also, we went to the pet store to see the rabbits. also, the park. we're wild. 

be thoughtful thursday: cookies to the fire station

okay... so we delivered the cookies we baked to a local fire station to say thanks for protecting us and i can NOT handle how amazingly nice the firefighters were. it was craziness! they let the girls ride in the firetruck and use the headsets and turn on the sirens and try on the fire gear and gave them a tour of the firehouse and it was so so so cool. i did cry many tears of sadness on the inside because i didn't know it would be so magical and i left beckett at home! deep in my heart i realize he couldn't have appreciated it yet anyway. that's what i say to feel better. anyways, i seriously heart me some firefighters. also... matt had the day off and we parked it up again!

somewhere fun friday: remlinger farms

beckett missed remlinger farms too. :( he had bronchitis. so sad. we did go with whitney and quinn though, and they are a fun time.
