happy easter! he is risen! we will rejoice! the boys woke up to easter baskets and an inside easter egg hunt. they were so cute finding their eggs in their easter jammies... it's too much. then we had some cronuts because we're wild like that and headed to church.
after church we headed over to the friske's (with a ham) to have a little easter lunch and an easter egg hunt in their yard. we feel so blessed to have such sweet little lady friends for our boys to hunt for eggs with. please ignore in the group shots with the kids how we cruelly forced them to sit facing directly into the sun and they are all squinting and crying. we were lucky to have beautiful weather! happy easter from our family to yours!
on easter eve we did some egg dying and easter prepping. i had big plans to make rice krispie treat eggs, but time got away from us! next year. after baths, the boys got in their easter jammies (thanks jenni) and left some carrots out for the easter bunny. they are pretty sweet boys, so i knew he would be good to them.
the big siblings went and did an egg hunt at harper and quinn's preschool. i stayed home with a (sleeping) heath, and i was pleasantly surprised that matt came back with quite a few pictures. i think picture taking is quite a bit easier when there is no heath around. anyway, these big kid friends are just the cutest. they kind of kill me. and easter is right around the corner. let's do it!
