seattle children's museum

on harper's actual birthday we went to the children's museum to celebrate. the museum was fun, but the lighting inside was so terrible and it made all my pictures pretty much the worst. plus, i took most of them as i was running by the area chasing a certain one year old. for some reason, i can just not skip posting them even though they're not great. so... here are some blurry pictures for you to kind of enjoy. i can't stop myself. i need help. 

harper is five!

it's true. another dear friend of beckett's turned five and i don't know what to do with myself. these kids are seeming so big to me these days. harper had a princess themed birthday party and i dressed beckett up like prince eric. it was pretty spot on, if i do say so myself. although, i'm not sure if a single child at that party has seen the little mermaid. kids these days. in conclusion, here are lots of pictures. i don't know why, but all the pictures at first are of babies. lonnie didn't just rudely only invite babies to a fifth birthday party though, i promise. happy birthday sweet harper! FIVE looks so good on you and we are so thankful to have a girl like you in our lives!

happy birthday little yiayia

we just so happened to be in reno for matt's yiayia's birthday, which was so nice because that means we both got to be at our grandma's birthdays this year. and grandma's are just precious people. we went out to dinner (in tahoe... again!) with lots of family (well, lots to me... a medium amount for matt's family) and had a good time. happy birthday, little yiayia. 86 looks good on you!
