last day of school!

we did it! beckett's first year of preschool has come to an end and it has been such a great year! we had such a wonderful experience at our school and look forward to starting again, three days a week in fall. beckett had a super year of painting, playing, reading, crafting, snacking, and more. he made several new friends and got to hang out with harper and penelope (who joined his class halfway through the year)! check out these before and after pictures... what a difference 9 months makes! we are just so proud of our preschooler!

it's my party... i'll eat all the bacon

for my birthday, matt and saige threw me a picnic party at the park with a bacon theme. i love bacon. too much. we had blt sandwiches for dinner and all of the side dishes had bacon in them too. you might be thinking that is too much bacon, but it turns out... that is not possible. it is never enough. thanks to my hubby and sister for throwing me a bday get together and to my friends for coming and being my friends. you're all the best of the best. good food, good friends, good family... what more could a 32 year old ask for?
