a sprinkle for baby pierce

i (along with margaret's other good friend, krista) had the pleasure of throwing a sprinkle to celebrate the upcoming arrival of baby madeline. we had a little brunch with a french theme... loosely based on the book madeline. we did a mimosa bar, but seriously half of the guests had babies in their bellies, so we went through quite a bit of trader joe's non-alcoholic sparkling chardonnay. i am so excited for baby madeline to get here. she is due april 29th... so heath and this baby will be almost exactly a year apart. it has been extra weird slash cool watching margaret go through this pregnancy and remembering being the same amount pregnant at the same time the previous year. beckett and penelope are only three weeks apart in age... so obviously both winter babies and i know the pierces will super enjoy having a new baby on the verge of summer. it's the best. and siblings are also the best and i just love all these new sisters and brothers that are popping up! we are so excited for the pierces and can't wait to meet the final member to their sweet little family in a few weeks!

a shower for baby mears

lonnie, whitney, and i had the joy of hosting a baby shower for natasha and her tiny little babe. per the usual, i am so late in blogging about this that that certain tiny little babe is here on the planet and not in natasha's belly anymore. at the time of the shower though, we did not know the gender because my friends like to personally torture me by not finding out. i assume that is why they don't find out, anyways. we threw natasha a woodland themed shower at an adorable log cabin at a park in redmond. we served delicious desserts and hopefully it was all natasha had hoped for. she has been "patiently" waiting for her turn to be showered, after helping to host baby showers for all of us. we are so very happy for natasha and jon and i am too excited for heath to have another little bestie in this second generation of sweet babies.

i was going to really be a great picture taker, but then lonnie was taking a thousand pictures because she is just really only comfortable behind the camera, so i stopped taking pictures with my camera. cause let's not be crazy. of course i regret that now because i do not have lonnie's pictures. sad story. here are a few that i do have though...

a sprinkle for baby kreitlow

well, we had a little (it wasn't really that little) sprinkle for baby kreitlow. i waited so long to write this post that that certain little baby is totally here and at the sprinkle i did not know the gender, but now i definitely do. i don't want to give anything away though! geez. i will say at the time of the sprinkle i thought whitney was having a girl, but was secretly (it wasn't a secret... i told anybody that would listen) hoping it would be a boy. the shower was pumpkin themed (oh fall time... the best time) and lindsey greene (who isn't lindsey greene anymore... ahh!) came all the way from california to celebrate. also anna dunne came all the way from california too. also! could people stop moving to california? or back to california, i guess. it's dumb. thanks. aaaaanyways, we are so so so excited to have another little baby kreitlow on this planet. there can just really never be too many babies. amiright?

oh baby, it's sprinkle time

saige (with the help of lonnie and natasha) threw me a very adorable sprinkle. the theme was... literally sprinkle, like as in lightly raining. it was good for me because i do love the rain and this year april showers will bring a may baby! jen sigl graciously offered up her home, again! my first shower, for beckett was at her house too. so now it's a tradition. all my baby showers will be there! not that i have so many left in my future! ;) anyways, it was a special night with a few good friends and little baby boy and i felt very loved and blessed. thank you so very much to my hostesses and everybody that attended. i am excited for you all to meet a sweet new tiny boy very soon!

allie came up and surprised me for the sprinkle. and i was seriously surprised. i can't believe everybody kept it a secret. matt and saige are both pretty bad liars and i'm usually super nosy and always figure things out. i couldn't even process it when she showed up at our front door. so sneaky! it was so great having her here for the party and the weekend. beckett especially loved having a sleep over buddy. we can't wait to see her again soon when baby comes!
