hurray! another little baby is here! and it's another boy! natasha just clearly doesn't like to do things like the average person because keller is a first baby who came pretty quickly a few weeks early! when she started texting about her contractions and how they were pretty painful i thought to myself, "ha! she is going to be in for a real shock when she gets real contractions in a few weeks." there you have it... i'm a monster. she showed me by delivering a baby (naturally!) a few hours later. gah. this little baby is sweet as can be and we are so happy for the mears. i am also so happy for heath to have another little friend to add to the guy club! boyz for dayz! ha. welcome tiny, cute face!

a shower for baby mears

lonnie, whitney, and i had the joy of hosting a baby shower for natasha and her tiny little babe. per the usual, i am so late in blogging about this that that certain tiny little babe is here on the planet and not in natasha's belly anymore. at the time of the shower though, we did not know the gender because my friends like to personally torture me by not finding out. i assume that is why they don't find out, anyways. we threw natasha a woodland themed shower at an adorable log cabin at a park in redmond. we served delicious desserts and hopefully it was all natasha had hoped for. she has been "patiently" waiting for her turn to be showered, after helping to host baby showers for all of us. we are so very happy for natasha and jon and i am too excited for heath to have another little bestie in this second generation of sweet babies. 

i was going to really be a great picture taker, but then lonnie was taking a thousand pictures because she is just really only comfortable behind the camera, so i stopped taking pictures with my camera. cause let's not be crazy. of course i regret that now because i do not have lonnie's pictures. sad story. here are a few that i do have though...

hello new faces!

some visitors who came to meet brand spankin' new heath. the pictures are not great because we were using whitney's camera and we are terrible with it, as it turns out.

our baby photographer! thank you thank you thank you for coming in the earliest morning hours and hanging out and being there for ALL of it! heath just really likes you... you can totally tell.

auntie saige!

i was so happy to have saige in the room this time (they wouldn't let anybody in with beckett!) and for her to get to meet heath the moment he was born! i hope she thought it was cool and not traumatizing. i think she was fine about it. and she videoed! yeah! heath of course loves his auntie so much.

yiayia!

yiayia was boarding an airplane to seattle as heath was being born... since he decided to come a little early. this made her go a tiny bit insane, but she got here just a few hours after he was born! heath found time with yiayia very relaxing right from the beginning.

natasha!

natasha spent the morning with a confused and dramatic beckett, while heath was being born. thank you natasha for hanging out and being so sweet with our boys.

lonnie!

heath is so appreciative that lonnie took a picture with him! lonnie got our meal deliveries organized so we wouldn't have to cook when we got home. we just have a lot of really great friends. we are thankful!

jennifer, grace, and jane!

i think jane maybe thought about kidnapping heath. she just loves babies so dang much. it really is pretty much the cutest. mike (jennifer's hubby and the girls' dad shares a birthday with heath!)

it's a nice day for a white wedding

sometimes you have a friend that has four babies. and because she had a sickie pregnancy and is providing nourishment for many, many mouths, she loses a lot of weight. and she makes a comment about how she could probably fit in her wedding dress again, after over 15 years. and a 15 year marriage means a 15 year old wedding dress... which means the 90's in all of it's glory. and you think that you probably need to see your friend in that dress. but that would be weird... to make her wear her dress for no reason. so, you decide you should put on your dress too. and also some other friends should wear dresses. and it will be like a wedding dress party. and that dress from the 90's... it does not disappoint. it is awesome. and it has a veil that matches in style and awesome level. did you know that the taller your veil is the better? it means you're closer to god. i just learned that. and do you know what a silk flower bouquet means? it means you have your bouquet to use in a photo shoot 15 years later. whoa. as icona pop would say... i. don't. care. i love it!

jon is twenty five!

last saturday we went to celebrate jon's 25th birthday. what a baby. natasha threw jon a beer tasting party and i tasted so many beers! that is a lie. i tasted one beer and it was gross. john brought a voodoo doughnut maple bacon beer and i will just say that liquids should not taste like smoky bacon. after that i stuck with hard cider. of course beckett and quinn got super drunk because they are just babies and haven't learned self control. i was embarrassed for them. b did actually try popcorn for the first time. he liked it... i was paranoid about him choking to death, so he didn't have much. anyways, thanks jon for being born and inviting us to your party. we had fun. 

october weddings

in my humble opinion, october is the very best and most romantic month to get married in. i'm actually not the only person that feels this way. october is the second most popular wedding month, behind june. i just love fall weddings... the colors, the feel, the weather. magic, all magic. i have lots of friends who also tied the knot in an october wedding (because why wouldn't you?!) check them out! and happy anniversary friends! do you have an october wedding and i left you out? sorry, i am ashamed. if you tell me, i will put you right on here too! unless you are a stranger... then don't be creepy, okay?!

double birthday partay

on saturday we went to jon and natasha's new place for a bbq to celebrate both their birthdays and see their new house aaaaand celebrate their almost here new puppy. they are getting a golden retriever tomorrow that they are naming teagan! cuuuuuute. i was a monster about taking pictures. i am ashamed... anyways, happy birthday jon and natasha!
