happy new year!

happy new year from our family to yours! yes! we all rallied until midnight. this family is excited to be celebrating its last new years as a group of three! excited for all that 2014 will bring. it's gonna be good! 

st edward state beach

you guys. washington is the most beautiful place in the history of ever. seriously. usually summer time is not my favorite time in washington because i'm crazy it gets too hot and stuff starts to look pretty dead-ish, but then we bought a state park pass and went to st. edward beach (which is like... 2 miles from our house!) and i was reminded that it is really still so nice here in the summer. the trail down was crazy lovely. the beach was crazy lovely. matt and b picked blackberries. ahhhh... i am seriously crushing on my state right now. also, beckett is adorable. and matt ain't bad either. woooo. 

family park date

we had lovely weather this easter weekend... so of course we headed to our favorite farm/park. beckett loves chickens. like a lot. matt loves cows. like a lot. i love the invention of hand sanitizer. like a lot. a warm day, lots of animals, bubbles, swings, and family time... what more could we want?

happy valentimes!

i hope everybody is having a great heart day. it doesn't get much better then spending time with my two favorite guys. i love them both a lot a lot a LOT! especially on valentine's day, but especially every other day.

i really could have posted every single picture from this photo shoot because i love them all so much. we feel so fortunate to be friends with the dunnes and that we get to do pictures with them because i really LOVE the way they turn out. i think nick (and anna) are amazing. i really do. BUT i will let the pictures speak for themselves. i highly, highly recommend the dunnes for family photos. also, ask anna to sing the mickey mouse clubhouse song to try and make your baby smile because it will make you smile... a lot. visit nick's website and have him do your family pics, unless you hate good pictures. which is weird.

something is different...

we just got our family pictures back from nick (a better post is coming on them) and we love them! check out our copycat picture from our maternity shoot. what a difference a year makes. how lucky are matt and i? the most lucky.

we went on a coffee date to caffe ladro in kirkland (well... a chai latte/hot chocolate date), but that is not important. what is important is beckett in his new adorable winter hat.
