trick or treat

beckett had a super fun time trick or treating with his dear friends, quinn and harper. none of these children are allowed to have candy and beckett can't even walk and i'm pretty sure they were all super weirded out about the whole situation. it is kind of weird when you think about it. but i LOVE it. what is more fun for a little kid than running around for hours collecting free candy in a fun costume and then going home to... you know it... organize the candy! the babes are a little young to appreciate it, but they did like playing with each other after we trick or treated and by the time halloween rolls around next year, they will have it down and maybe get to enjoy a candy or two. quinn was in a homemade puppy costume, with a puppy treat bag for collecting candy (people thought he was a cow), harper was a garden gnome, which was confusing for many people, and b was mistaken several times for a crocodile. they were really the cutest group though, everybody loved them. of course. also, matt and whitney know like... every single person in their whole neighborhood. wowzers, i feel like a super lame neighbor! oh well, we had a great time with our babies and i can't wait for next year and all the fun of creating holiday traditions for our family... like ending the night with some mummy dogs. spooky!

dizzy bus party

we stopped by dizzy's annual halloween party and it was pretty hoppin'. beckett got to enjoy some delicious candy from trick or treating. okay... matt and i ate his candy. he is just a baby. b was pretty overwhelmed with all the people and costumes, but he did pretty good and it made me excited for future halloweens when he can participate and eat his own candy. we also got to see cupcake gianna. gianna really looooooves baby beckett... and beckett is a tad skeptical, as seen in the photo. he really shouldn't be, she is always quite nice to him. also, the highlight of the whole trip was a random balloon that b got. it kept him very happy the whole ride home, and that was very nice for everyone.

a party for maya

today we went to a party to celebrate baby maya at tot spot cafe. yes, i visited with that baby two times this week. because she is the cutest. and also beckett and matt really needed to meet her. and i needed to hang out with my best friend, hana some more.

 maya makes adam and hana seem so big! they are pretty much grown up now. 

they both practiced their older sibling skills with beckett. it went pretty well.
