sawyer is three!

sawyer belle had a peppa pig party to celebrate her third birthday. the kids played musical muddy puddles, which was the first time anybody has done an attempt at a musical chairs type game. mostly, i think the kids were pretty confused. penelope won, but i don't think she even really understood why. haha. sawyer is just the funniest little lady. she is crazy independent, loves to play with the big kids, but also digs a good baby, and will always pose for the camera. she almost always wears pigtails and her face is just real cute. happy birthday sawyer, three looks too good on you!

saint patrick's day

we had our usual st. patrick's day group over for dinner, minus the dunne's who moved practically a million miles away for who knows why. per the usual, i took pictures of no things except for children. it's how i do. we did eat corned beef and cabbage and drank beer. except i didn't... because beer is gross. i took no pictures of that, you will just have to trust me. hope you all had some good luck o' the irish... i definitely feel lucky to have all these adorable little people in my life. 

you just need to always be looking at sawyer belle in these group shots because when i looked through them all, she kind of killed me. 

flashback!

a sprinkle for baby pierce

i (along with margaret's other good friend, krista) had the pleasure of throwing a sprinkle to celebrate the upcoming arrival of baby madeline. we had a little brunch with a french theme... loosely based on the book madeline. we did a mimosa bar, but seriously half of the guests had babies in their bellies, so we went through quite a bit of trader joe's non-alcoholic sparkling chardonnay. i am so excited for baby madeline to get here. she is due april 29th... so heath and this baby will be almost exactly a year apart. it has been extra weird slash cool watching margaret go through this pregnancy and remembering being the same amount pregnant at the same time the previous year. beckett and penelope are only three weeks apart in age... so obviously both winter babies and i know the pierces will super enjoy having a new baby on the verge of summer. it's the best. and siblings are also the best and i just love all these new sisters and brothers that are popping up! we are so excited for the pierces and can't wait to meet the final member to their sweet little family in a few weeks!
