heath's first haircut!

heath got his first haircut! his hair is so different than beckett's. it is blonde and crazy wispy and has an insane growth pattern. he was developing a terrible comb over and something had to be done! haircuts always make me cry, but things are looking much more reasonable now! he is the cutest!

beckett also got a haircut a few days before heath and that one really almost killed me. it is the shortest we have ever gone and he looks like he is ten. what in the world?! oh well... i think it just only took a few years off my life. thanks to whitney for keeping my boys looking good!

tiptoe through the tulips

whitney and i took all our boys to the tulip festival... because these kids just love tulips! or maybe it's us. i can't be sure. it was pretty freezing cold and windy as all get out, but the boys actually still had fun running around and probably ruining lots of other people's photos. ha. sorry people. the tulip festival has been a weird tradition that we have started and now we'll probably pose all our tiny men in tulips for the rest of their lives. except i have no pictures from 2013. what in the world? we did not go that year? i don't even know, man. we also went to eat at the skagit valley brewery because that is kind of a thing now too. truth be told... i'm never that impressed. ha. sorry brewery. BUT, i am always impressed with the tulips! they are my all time favorite and i love living so close to a festival promoting my favie flower of all the flowers. i also love these adorable little boys. duh.

happy easter!

happy easter! he is risen! we will rejoice! the boys woke up to easter baskets and an inside easter egg hunt. they were so cute finding their eggs in their easter jammies... it's too much. then we had some cronuts because we're wild like that and headed to church.

after church we headed over to the friske's (with a ham) to have a little easter lunch and an easter egg hunt in their yard. we feel so blessed to have such sweet little lady friends for our boys to hunt for eggs with. please ignore in the group shots with the kids how we cruelly forced them to sit facing directly into the sun and they are all squinting and crying. we were lucky to have beautiful weather! happy easter from our family to yours!
