honey badger don't care

on saturday matt had his company work picnic at vasa park in bellevue. it is a pretty nice park, right on the water and the weather was not too shabby. his company had a "friendly" six part competition and matt put a team together called the honey badgers. they obviously didn't care about winning or doing well... except for really they did. some of the scoring was a little shady business, but the honey badgers really pulled through in the end.

there was a truck called sweet treats that made custom cookie ice cream sandwiches. yuuuuuum

okay... for the competition. here is the honey badgers serious game pamphlet.

game one... egg relay race. honey badgers have success!

game two... needle in a haystack. ugh, the hay dust was so insane and gross, poor zac. he even got a rash! BUT honey badgers have success!

game three... tug of war. honey badgers fail, but only because the game was totally on a hill and honey badgers had an uphill disadvantage.

game four... watermelon eating contest. honey badgers fail, but only because there was serious cheating going on. for real!

game five... three legged race. honey badgers fail, but only because it turns out that kate and zac are bad at running with their legs tied together. 

game six... potato sack race. honey badgers have success! taking a first, second, and third place spot! whoa honey badgers, whoa!

and in the end... honey badgers get second place overall! and win tickets to a mariners game and food while we're there! go honey badgers!!! but they don't care.
