i like to read... really!

time for a terrible confession... but i need to get it off my chest. i did not read one single page of one single book the first year of beckett's life!* i don't know what happened! i got caught up in tv and internet stuff (oh, pinterest) and blogging (hehehe) and having a newborn and the exhaustion that goes with that. well, enough is enough. a one year reading hiatus is far too much time. far too much. i think i may have gotten dumber. seriously. so i am going on a reading binge. my goal is to read at least 6 new books a month. so far so good. at the end of every month i will do a shorty book review post. so, if you have any recommendations... send them my way! i'm a reading machine... again.

*this does not include children's books. i have read plenty of those. plenty. i am not some terrible monster who doesn't read to her own kid.
