penelope is one!

beckett had a great time celebrating the first birthday of his dear friend, penelope. i can not believe penelope is already one. i mean... i can believe it because i also have a one year old, but whoa. what is with these kids, just growing up like it's no big deal. penelope had a beatrix potter themed party, which was very sweet. penelope had a lot of friends and family come to celebrate her birthday and she got a ton of presents. she opened a few of them during the party and beckett was like a serious little stalker. he is creeping in the background the entire time. he is definitely looking forward to a play date, so he can help her enjoy all of her new gifts. anyways, penelope was a lovely hostess and we all had a good time celebrating her first year of life. it has certainly gone by quickly.
