camping trip!

so, i went temporarily insane. whitney had this really great idea to go camping and i have been wanting to go camping, so i was interested in her idea. she had some time off work last week and wanted to camp monday and tuesday and take beckett and quinn and grace and jane. here is where i went crazy. i agreed that would be a really good plan. so i quickie quick rented us a yert at tolt mcdonald campground in carnation. the matts planned to meet us after work for dinner and then head home. in the end, my matt took beckett home with him since he was not fully recovered from his sickness. everything went really well, until it was late at night and the boys had left and we were sitting by the campfire and we heard what sounded like wild dogs... wolves... beasts... fighting in the woods. i was pretty sure we were going to be eaten and i decided we were nuts for staying out in the woods all alone with no men. we ran so quick into the yert (playing it cool so we didn't frighten the children) and luckily survived until morning. i do love camping food and camp fires and being outside annnnnnnd taking a delightful shower once you are all done. all in all... it was a camping trip success!
