it was the rainiest of rainy days on the friday after thanksgiving, so we went tree shopping on saturday. it was bitter cold and heath really could not even believe we had dragged him out into this weather. we went to the yakima fruit market because we really just didn't have the motivation to cut down our own tree this year... even though there are some cutesie tree farms pretty darn close. we got a real goodie though and it was the easiest to pick out. i will say, christmas trees are kind of pricey for something that's dead and sits in your house for a month, you know? oh well, it's not like i would ever not get one. expensive dead trees for life!
