so, this post is a tad delayed, but i just got the chance to go and meet still pretty brand new, sweet little maya. she is the newest addition to the family that i used to nanny for, you know... before i had my own baby to take care of. maya came along almost exactly nine months after beckett... did i give somebody baby fever? actually, i probably did because manal is one of those crazy ladies who loves to be pregnant... and she got to spend a whole lot of time with pregnant cortney. anyways, everybody at their home is lookin' good and it seems that so far the dreaded transition to three children (outnumbered parents...ahh!) is going smoothly. in fact, manal still insists that the hardest transition of all... is going from no kids to one. good news for me because i already did that! and yes, if you are wondering... holding tiny, tiny baby maya made me nostalgic for a newbie baby. how soon we forget the hard part of growing and taking care of a brand new person!
congratulations to naz, manal, adam, and hana! maya is the perfect final addition to complete your family. except... now you need a dog. haha... ha.

today adam and hana invited beckett to spend a day with thomas. we got to ride on thomas the train through snoqualmie. pretty exciting, right? beckett totally appreciated it and knew exactly what was going on. he was in a pretty good mood though, and got to spend some time with adam and hana... who got to get in a little baby practice before they have their own baby brother or sister to play with. hana said, "soon there will be two baby becketts!" hmm... is there another boy in the future for them? who knows! thanks for the train ride play date, friends!
on saturday we got to celebrate the wonderous occasion of hana turning three years old! man time flies... she is such a big girl. hana had her party at a gymnastics center and also it was princess themed (of course).
beckett had a great time at the party. i took him out on the gymnastics floor and he instantly fell asleep until about the last 15 minutes of the party. way to rally, b! then he quickly enjoyed some crown time with auntie baby saige, had a slice of princess cake (lies... maybe he could taste the cake through the milk though), and received his party bag, which included a nice frog washcloth. he loves it.
hana has been a little shy around me lately (sad... since we used to be best friends), but she warmed up by the end of the party and it was just like old times. i don't know why i'm so blurry in this picture and apparently throwing my own child to the side to enjoy some time with my best friend. hana is very cute in it though.
