bye bye bakers

the bakers moved home to indiana and it's the worst. probably not for them, but for me. we miss them all terribly. before they moved away, we threw them a washington themed going away party. i helped plan it, but per the usual with all things baker i was sick the day of the party and missed it. boo. here are more pictures than you ever needed to see. bakers... we miss you every single day. come and visit us immediately. 

it's a nice day for a white wedding

sometimes you have a friend that has four babies. and because she had a sickie pregnancy and is providing nourishment for many, many mouths, she loses a lot of weight. and she makes a comment about how she could probably fit in her wedding dress again, after over 15 years. and a 15 year marriage means a 15 year old wedding dress... which means the 90's in all of it's glory. and you think that you probably need to see your friend in that dress. but that would be weird... to make her wear her dress for no reason. so, you decide you should put on your dress too. and also some other friends should wear dresses. and it will be like a wedding dress party. and that dress from the 90's... it does not disappoint. it is awesome. and it has a veil that matches in style and awesome level. did you know that the taller your veil is the better? it means you're closer to god. i just learned that. and do you know what a silk flower bouquet means? it means you have your bouquet to use in a photo shoot 15 years later. whoa. as icona pop would say... i. don't. care. i love it!

meet amber party!

amber and her daughter, emily came to meet hope and connor and visit with madison and victoria. of course everybody wanted to meet amber, so the bakers had a meet amber party. i was a crazy person and only took pictures of kids... and there were a lot of kids. a lot. and a lot of them were bakers. four sweet babies never get old. and meeting the friend that helped it happen is pretty fun... and a pretty good reason for a get together. we hope amber and emily come back to visit soon and bring the men in their life too. the bakers are probably especially missing emily because she was quite the baby helper. i hardly saw her at the party because she spent all of her time caring for babies. and that is quite time consuming!
